Question on enabling the plugins in PDI instance

Hello Community,

I am very curious about this one.Can we enable below paid plugins in personal instance and is there any impact on this.

Because i can able to install some of the plugins.

Can anyone provide information on this.

Hey Steveanner,

In PDI you can uninstall the plugins on clicking of Uninstall related link like in below screenshot but it will remove the demo data that have installed with it and it remain inactive .but we can install it again from plugins. install 1st in dev instance.

After uninstall again we can activate/repair

kindly mark Correct and Helpful if applicable.

If we install plugin in prod instance and it will automatically install sub prod instances in company instance or if we install in dev and it will reflect in higher instances???

hey Steveanner,

you need to activate the plugin in each instance separately.You can just activate the plugins. Also on your sub-production environments it's not paid. And after cloning your production back to your sub-production, the plugin will just be cleared. refer this link for more link1 link2.

Thanks for your patience to answer my question Observed one strange thing when we check v_plugins.List it display all the active and inactive list but when I checked create by and updated by my name appearing in the list eventhough I did no install those.....is this virtual table v_plugins and it will be displayed based on user session can you please explain on this.
