Anyone ever used Knowledge Demand Insights? If yes, can you share any prerequisites for that? like any min number of records? 

Can you also share your experience on this product.

KDI uses search analytics and user behavior data to show you:

  • Which search terms are being used most often.

  • Which searches return no results or no useful clicks.

  • Where knowledge gaps exist so you can create new articles.

  • How well your knowledge base is satisfying user demand.

Essentially, it helps Knowledge Managers and authors align content with actual demand.

 

Best Practices

  • Make sure all KBs are indexed for search.

  • Encourage employees to use the portal search (rather than asking in tickets directly).

  • Review the dashboard monthly — don’t wait until there’s a content crisis.

  • Set up a Knowledge Governance process so failed searches → KB article creation tasks
