Quick Links and Recommended for you widgets missing from Employee Center homepage.

Hello SN experts, 

I am modifying our Employee Center homepage (ec_dashboard) and have lost the 'Quick Links' and Recommended for you (Relevant for you) widgets that normally would appear there.  I am in the Designer and drag/dropping them does not work, as they still do not appear on the homepage (I am seeing "No preview available" in designer.

Can someone please tell me how to readd these widgets to the homepage?  I am attaching a screenshot of what I am seeing here.

Usually designer will not load/show the data upon adding the widget.

Go to portal page and check for the content.

Thank you for your reply ... that's just the thing. The widgets do not appear on the portal.  That's my question - how do I get them back.  Can you please provide any assistance with getting them to appear?

I resolved this by creating a new Employee taxonomy and removing the original one.
