To Whom It May Concern:
I am interested in creating study resources for ServiceNow developers and consultants.
I would like to use ServiceNow's Quiz Designer to do so.
I have tried working with Quiz Designer, but I am experiencing confusion as to its true purpose/function.
I would like anyone who wants to do so to log into an instance and take one of these ServiceNow quizzes.
However, Quiz Designer seems oriented toward the administrator assigning quizzes to people and giving them a timeframe in which to log in and take the quiz.
Is Quiz Designer a good choice for creating study aids, or is there a better option out there?
Is there anyone out there who has experience with Quiz Designer and can give me some hints or tips or guidance?
Are there any resources other than the SNWiki article that can help me to understand Quiz Designer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Alan,
As an alternative, look at the Exam Manager application I wrote on ServiceNow Share.
Search for "Exam Manager".
Video: Exam Manager v2 - YouTube
There is a UI page called "quick_exam" which lets you embed a URL, in a KBA for example, which triggers the exam upon user demand. We use it internally all the time.

Chuck, you are a lifesaver! This is what I have been looking for.
I have created an exam with one question. However, I cannot figure out how to actually take the exam. Whenever I click on 'Take Exam', no exams are available.
Other than that, I love it! I am interested in creating a Certified Application Developer practice test, using ServiceNow. Eventually, I would like to be able to tell users what score they got in each study category and which categories they need to brush up on.
Thank you again, Chuck!

Exams are not displayed until they are in the "Ready" state. When you first add a user to the related list (the manual approach) they are in Pending state.
If you use the quick_exam UI page (when presented as a link) they default to Ready state so there's no manual step. If you have any additional questions after watching the video, let me know and I'll be happy to answer them.
FWIW, Can you please mark the appropriate comment correct so others can find the answer quicker if they search for something similar in the future and it will be listed as "Answered". Thank you.

That's it. Thanks very much, Chuck; I can't wait to move my questions and answers over and make this available for anyone who wants to get another SN certification.
I have 4 certs and 3 accreditations so far!
Thanks again!
