We went live in July and are still encountering weird workflow issues. For an industry leading platform the basic workflow piece is buggier than all get out. Cheapo platforms like Kissflow never had problems like we're seeing all over the place here. The only consistent thing we're seeing is that workflows don't behave as expected. In this case our new user setup request needs to be approved by the manager and HR rep selected on the request form. Both approvers have the business_stakeholder and approver_user role. Both approvers received approval requests. Tasks generated after only the manager approved. The HR approval is still in requested status. Is there something in the scripting that is overriding the out of the box wait for condition? If an identical request is submitted with the same manager and HR rep chances are thirty to fifty percent both approvals will be required before tasks generate.
