This morning I got an email with the subject "Please release your developer instance".
It said, "Please save your work and release the current instance by the end of this week. The instance has technical issues and must be retired."
Is it a legit request?

Hi @Mathi3
Backup means, you can take back of configuration
See all your Update set
Make a one parent and
add rest update set as child
complete the parent update set
and at bottom you will get
export

Does anyone know if we release our instance if we will be able to request a new one right away?
Or is this another money thing like our Delta's that ServiceNow is going to start charging us for our PDI's.
I am really starting to dislike the BS around this platform -

Hello. Just released mine and requested a new one successfully. Now to rebuild all the stuff that doesn't get saved in update sets. Good luck to you. 🙂

Hello @You-Lan Bribach
Good day!
Today I got a similar email asking me to release the instance due to technical issues.
Just curious if you did release your instance or did you let it retired by the ServiceNow developer team?
Also, did you manage to do a backup and restore with it?
many thanks in advance.
Best regards
Chee
