This morning I got an email with the subject "Please release your developer instance".
It said, "Please save your work and release the current instance by the end of this week. The instance has technical issues and must be retired."
Is it a legit request?

Hi Atul,
Thank for your reply, appreciate it!
What is the best option to backup the PDI for restore on a new instance later on ?
Does the backup with update sets able to fully restore all the work that I have done on the current instance?
Thanks in advance for you help!

Hi @CheeWaiWong
Take XML Back up of update set and restore them in new PDI but again I recommended
If possible take only required update set backup not all else same situation again.

Hello You-Lan Bribach,
Good day!
I received a similar email this morning.
Did you actually release the instance or did you let ServiceNow team to release yours?
Also did you manage to do a backup and restore with it?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
