Re-sizing a variable width in portal

Hi team how can i change the width for my variable in portal ? ( catalog / requested item)

Hi @yoli1 ,

There is one option given under "Type Specification" but that mostly work with container to set the variable's screen width otherwise it always default set. 

I checked few of old thread with same question,  but no luck. Lets see if any one has some custom code.
