Hello,
I came up with a scenario-based question - A field is newly created on form and it gets read-only. There are no configurations done on the field in terms of ACLs, Client script, UI Policies, Dictionary overrides. What could be the probable cause? Any idea or suggestion?
-Thanks.

The reason can be at field creation , it was made read only.

Hello @Dr Atul G- LNG ,
Thanks for the response. Do you mean at the dictionary level - the read-only field was checked as true? If yes, then this wasn't the cause. Can there be any other cause?
-Thanks

@Priyanka_Ghosh If the there are no ACLs, Client script and UI Policy involved and still the field is read only then it means the field was made read only from the field dictionary itself.
Hope this answers your question.
