I have been working on an incident submitted by one of our business users concerning a record producer that does not show up when some metadata words are searched in our service portal catalog search bar. The metadata words they are trying to use (that are indeed in the metadata for this record producer) are 'Issue' and 'IT'.
I have already tried to disable these words in the 'Text Index Stop Words' table and then regenerate the relevant text indexes. The specific metadata words still do not work for this particular item but they DO work for some other items...but weirdly, not all the time.
Any ideas as to what could be going on? I'm wondering if this is because of a priority issue when you search something? It's worth noting that the record producer DOES show up when you search for it by full name, but not when you search by just a part of the name.
The category of the record producer is available to the user trying to search it, it is searchable, but whether it shows up in the search or not seems very inconsistent. All in all, I am confused.
