Is there any way that we can resubmit the record producer once it is rejected.

Since all the fields will be readonly and user cannot resubmit in the backend as we have the access restriction. It has to be done in the portal is there any please help with that.

Any other ways to do this ?

Hi @pk2184046

Are you referring to a catalog item or an RP? Because “Record Produced” means you are using a task-based table, where a record is generated and the process is followed accordingly. To my knowledge, there is no approval process in RP, but in a catalog item, there is an approval process. If you are referring to a catalog item, then the answer is no — once a request is rejected, the user needs to raise or submit it again from the start.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG

I'm referring to the RP and we have a separate approval process for that and the table on which the RP is created is custom one. Please let me know what is the possible way once the approver rejects we have to ask the user to resubmit the details and we can restart the workflow in the backend.

Hi @pk2184046

Thanks for the update. We need to understand why the record was rejected, as there could be many reasons. It might be that the wrong RP was used by the user, incorrect information was provided, the user is not authorized, or the approver needs more information. Based on the approver’s comments, the user needs to manually resubmit the request.

This is not a good use case for automation unless you have predefined reasons for rejection and the resubmission does not require human intervention (such as correcting information) from the user.
