Red Mandatory Star:

Black Mandatory Star: 

This indicates that the field is mandatory and has a value entered. Once a user fills in the required information, the red star typically changes to black (or a less prominent color, depending on the UI theme), signifying that the mandatory requirement for that specific field has been met.
