Redirect to a Page and Display Widget Results in ServiceNow Portal

Hi All,
I am working on a custom widget in the ServiceNow portal. The widget displays an alphabet selector and a grid of popular items based on the selected letter. However, I want to enhance its functionality as follows:

  • The widget is currently available on the first page.
  • When a user interacts with the widget (e.g., selects an alphabet or item), it should redirect to another page.
  • On the redirected page, another widget should be created to display the results relevant to the interaction.

For the second page, I need to create another widget to process the parameters passed during the redirection and display the relevant data dynamically. My questions are:

    1. How can I effectively pass parameters (e.g., alphabet or item ID) from the first widget to the redirected page?
    2. What should the structure of the new widget on the second page look like to capture these parameters and fetch/display the relevant results?

Any guidance, examples, or suggestions on implementing this functionality would be greatly appreciated.

Please find below attachments for HTML, CSS, Server Script and Client Scripts of the Widget

                   Thank you in advance!

    Regards,

    Mohammed Sazid
