Redirect users to Workspace based on role

Hi,

I have created a custom application and a custom Workspace.
I want users with a specific role to be redirected to the Workspace after login.

If a user does not have the Workspace role, they should be redirected to the normal nav page.

What is the best and upgrade-safe way to achieve this?

your custom app role users you can take them to your workspace

you can handle this using Homepage Destination Rule

You need not worry about some other user not having your app role, what they see will depend on existing implementation using SPEntryPage
