Redirecting Catalog Item Searches to ESC Portal

Hello all,
When a catalog item is searched in the global search or in the Related Search on the Incident form, it should redirect the user to the ESC portal instead of the backend (catalog) view. We need to customize the global search specifically for the platform view. How can we achieve this?

I dont think so it is possible.
