This problem has been driving me insane for the past few hours. I am trying to display Login Name as a column on the dialog that pops up when i click a reference field that maps to a table i've created called TestUsers. All I get is the Sys_ID displayed. Below is the referenced table. I've set the display field to Login Name but it does not appear in this dialog.

Right click on the List Header(Sys_id field), If you have admin rights you would be able see options like as shown in the above screen i have attached

Thanks Srinivas! Wow, I can't believe it took me hours of searching. They need to somehow change that in their interface. Right clicking a column sort control to configure the list is not intuitive.

This works exactly what I was looking for. By default it was showing created.
