Reference field shows sys_id and date created when selected?

How can I fix this to not show sys id and date created when I select this reference field?

In dictionary of this table select display value true for a column which you want to display in the reference.

Make some field as display true for that table which is being referred by lookup icon.

You need to add some field which you want to display in pop-up window. Right click on the header of the table (yellow highlighted next to Name) and then select Configure -> List Layout

then select the field which you want to display.
