Hello,
We have a multirow variable set for a catalog item which 1 variable (Operating Unit) is not working properly.
If I select 10130 for the Operating Unit it populates the field as expected. This is the first row in the MRVS.
Now I want to add a second row, and I want to select 11115 for the Operating Unit. The value is not found.
If I start over (Remove All Rows), I am able to see 10130 and 11115. This time I select 11115.
When I go to add the second row, 10130 is not visible to select. Additionally, there are other selections missing from the dropdown.
The dropdown is a Lookup Select Box for a table. You can see there is a Reference Qualifier to filter results.
The u_ou_bu_combo is a column on the table that is used to filter Operating Units based on the Business Unit variable the submitter has selected. (e.g., submitted selects KCPL for the Business Unit, the only Operating Units displayed are ones for the KCPL Business Unit).
Why am I not seeing all the Operating Units when I enter the second row, etc? This works fine in the native desktop UI, but not in the Service Portal.
HELP! Please and thank you in advance.
Laurie

I don't think this is supported. Or it wasn't the last time I looked.

Agree to what Jace mentioned below, I do not think that this is supported yet.
Variables that are not included in a multi-row variable set cannot be used in dependent reference qualifiers for variables in the multi-row variable set.
Similarly, the variables included in the multi-row variable set cannot be used in dependent reference qualifiers for variables that are not in the multi-row variable set.
For a reference qualifier, the current row is the one that is being edited. This is still a restriction till the latest version of ServiceNow i.e. San Diego after Rome as shown below:
Add
Adding the ServiceNow doc link as well for reference:
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-servicenow-platform/page/product/service-catalog-management/concept/c_ServiceCatalogVariableSets.html
Hope this helps. Please mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.

Here's a workaround to accomplish this:
