Referenced field showing backend value in the form

So, my issue is i make a field named "Reward Type" of type STRING with 5 choices.
And, then i make another table and inside that table i make referenced type field named "Reward Type" referenced to that first table.

i also make a display =true for that field, but it is showing me backend value of that choice in the form.

How can i fix this?

this is OOTB behavior.

whenever you mark field as Display=true and some other table is referring this table then it shows the value and string field with choices will show choice value only and not label
