I have a related list on a form in ServiceNow. My related list columns look like this on the platform:
But on the service portal when you click on the record the related list columns look like this:
The list layout of the table is 'Confirmation No, Disposition and Client Name" but the list layout of the related list is "Client Name, Number, Country and Date of Birth" but the service portal wants to take the list layout of the table when using the out of the box form page for service portal.
Was this always how it worked? I with Service Portal would use the list layout of the related list and not the table.

Try to check on your target table that you have any view called "service portal" or "portal" like I found in Incident table
If yes try to make changes of field in your service portal view.
