i have to set a restriction for that work notes field which is default, under notes tab,how to do this?

That work notes field under that tab is dafault field which is created by system so how to go adead

Yes mate, that does not matter, worknotes in field on form. so you can use in UI policy easily. You may refer above links i shared.
