Reliable table that holds Products in use (cmdb_software_product_model)

Good day.

Is it fair to say that cmdb_software_product_model is the most reliable table to get the list of software products that are in use within the enterprise?

Not 100% sure. but look at cmdb_model table.

Adding to the original post, explaining the requirement further.

We have established Enterprise Standards for SOFTWARE products in sn_apm_trm_standards_product. i.e.,  Which products are approved, unapproved, not reviewed, evaluation etc. 
The requirement is get the list of unapproved products that are in use within enterprise. Seeking for a reliable table or tables which provides the software products in use by an enterprise. Not even looking for business application. Just on whether we are using it or not and how many installs or which server type.
Checking on few tables such as cmdb_sam_sw_install, samp_sw_usage (holds only desktop software), alm_license  etc.
Is there any one table or set of tables that concretely provide the list of products in use / installed in an enterprise. 
Any help here would be great.
