Remediation Digest

HI All,

New to this vulnerability response module unable to find any objects which is creating record in the "sn_vul_remediation_digest.list"  . Can anybody help in understanding how records are getting created in this table.

Please check below docs.

1. Navigate to All > Scheduled Jobs.
2. Locate the Generate remediation digest and click it to open it the record.

   You might prefer to leave the fields in their default settings until you verify that notifications are being sent. By default, emails are sent weekly on Monday mornings at 9:00 AM in the time zone of the instance that is running the job.

Records gets created by the "Generate remediation digest " scheduled job.  But making sure the jobs is active and settings are properly configured is just the first part in order for remediation owners to receive the digest email.. The second part is adding users to the "Remediation Owner" group. Once users are added to that group, they will then receive remediation digest emails for remediation tasks assigned to them or their group. Here are the steps to  add users to the remediation owner group. As of the time of this writing, there is no way to add a group within the remediation owner group. This should definitely be a feature request.

1. Navigate to sys_user_group.list.
2. Search for "Remediation Owner"
3. Under group members, add the user to the group.

It's important to note that adding a user to this group does not give them permission to remediation tasks.  For users to have access to assign remediation task, they need the " sn_vul.remediation_owner" role which will give them access to assigned remediation task for them and their groups.
