Remove reference variable choices from dropdown for a catalog item. (out of 5 choices need to disable 3choice)

In "Action" variable set:
1. Update "Supported Business Unit" variable - keep choices "Consumer Healthcare" and "Global Support Functions" remove Pharma, Viiv, and Vaccines choices.
* "Supported Business Unit" is a reference variable.

No i have not tried yet, but i have doubt we are having Hierarchy level is 1 as mentioned in attachment. here shall i change the user reference qualifier change to advanced and write java script in reference qualifier..?

Hi,
If you have some complex queries to use, then you need to use the advanced and write javascript in reference qualifier. But as per the screenshot, You can use as many conditions as you want in the condition field. "Hierarchy level is 1" condition will work without any issue. Just be sure to use the correct value for the same.
