Remove view list from Additional actions

Hi Team,

I need to remove the list of views expect self-service for the logged in user who doesn't have HR related roles.

How we can achieve this.

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar @Dr Atul G- LNG , We have a view rule for non HR role user to land on ess view. But since they have option to change the views, its setting that user selected view as user preference and next them when they open HRC its not opening in ess rather in user preferred view.

 

 Also , if user who has non HR role opens HRC as per view OOB they are landing in self-service view, when they try to change to other views from ess example; ess(self-service) to my HRworkbench it allowing them to change and its not reverting to ess again.

 

I am ok with the views to being visible but it should not allow users to change to different views. It must revert back to ess

We have a view rule for non-HR role users to land on the ES view. But since they have the option to change the views, it sets the user-selected view as the user's preference, and next time they open HRC, it opens in the user-preferred view rather than the ES view.

Atul: This is system OOTB behaviour which help users to get a better user experience.

Atul: NO , it is not possible, if views are there user change it.

We cant remove the view,  view is just a way to see the form which can provide a good user experience.

You can control the view using role.

Create one custom role and assign to view and also give to user to whom you want to display.
