Report List searchable

Hello everyone,

i've created a report on table sc_req_item of type list to display specific variables of a specific requested item.

Now it should be possible to search a variable/short description field (type string). 

Is there any possibility/idears? As I've seen so far, interactiv filters are not possible on string fields.

Effectively, OOTB interactive filters cannot use a String field.
