'Report' Method is Broken for Instances That Won't Wake

I've kept my developer instance up to date ever since creating it a couple of months ago but now it won't 'wake' from hibernation.

 

I've read that these instances can be temperamental — and I'm fine with that — but is the 'Report' option (indicated in the screenshot below) supposed to do nothing at all

Understanding that there is no support for PDI instances, I do wonder if there is a larger scale issue given the number of reports of instances being stuck in hibernations/not waking up/report function not working. Even if no support is provided for issues within the instance, with multiple users in the same window of time experiencing a similar problem opening their instance and given that SN created an option to report said issue which indicates that they are interested to track and/or resolve concerns of this nature which can be interpreted as different from supporting PDIs.

 

Should there be an SN response that points to an issue being looked into or is the path for everyone - release the "faulty" instance and request a new instance? My instance has also been in limbo (not waking up) for a week at this point.

I did wind up getting the following automated email yesterday:


Please save your work and release the current instance by the end of April 10th, 2025. The instance has technical issues and must be retired.

Yes, emails are being sent to many PDI users due to a technical issue. ServiceNow is requesting to release the PDI. So, please take a backup and release the instance.
