ServiceNow is moving from legacy reporting to the enhanced and unified experience provided by Platform Analytics. This means that all new reports should be created using Data Visualizations, which are part of the Platform Analytics framework.

To get started, familiarize yourself with Data Visualizations and their capabilities. You can also use the migration utility to convert your existing legacy reports to the new reporting experience. In addition, it is a good idea to educate and guide your users on the new reporting model and its benefits.

According to ServiceNow's guidance, legacy reports can still be used for a limited period, with support expected to continue until the end of 2027. However, it is recommended to begin planning and executing your migration sooner rather than later to take advantage of the latest features and avoid a last-minute transition.
