Requested for keeps showing opened by on order guide

Hi,
we discovered that when a catalog item is submitted trough an order guide the approval related list shows the opened by in the requested for field (screenshots), this only happens when submitted trough an order guide.
doing some research i found that this is OOB behavior for the order guide , but i wonder if someone was able to find a solution for this anyway ?

if not Order guide then what it shows?
Requested for on RITM must be defaulting to logged in user at dictionary level.

if the items are not submitted trough order guide it shows the correct requested for and not the opened by.
i do see a default value, but why is it happening only on order guide then ?

in your approvers related list that Requested For is coming from RITM Dot walking.
What's your confusion?
When standalone RITM is submitted -> what's populated in requested_for field on RITM
When RITM submitted along with Order Guide -> what's populated in requested_for field on RITM
