Resource reports

I need two resource reports, one to show allocation by resource/week and the another that shows planned, allocated, available and over-allocation.

In Resource..Resource reports there is a report (allocation details) that gives me exactly what I need, however, I cannot save or export the report. This means the PM will need to run the report every time they need to see this data.   What I would like to do is be able to save this report with the parameters I specify.

The second report I need is a report that will show me the planned, available and over-allocated hours, per resource, per project, broken down by (grouped by) Resource and Project with a zoom level of monthly and weekly. Here is an example I created in Excel. It show two resources, their projects, the weeks of January and the hours that they have been Planned/Allocated/Over-allocated per week (over-allocation shown in red).   Is there a way to get a report similar to this?   Our project managers need this to get a quick snapshot of allocations.

I would also like to have a report that simply shows allocated/confirmed/requested and available time for resource groups and users that also show the maximum allocation levels. A similar chart like this can be seen in Geneva, Resource Workbench, but it it doe not in Istanbul. The Resource Workbench is much different in Istanbul. Thank you in advance for any input you may have.

Hi Bob, we had a lot of discussions with our team and we have decided that what we will do is use scripts to copy data from the allocation tables into a new, flattened table which is structured the way we need it to be, and then report against the new table.

Richard:   I just noticed your question.   Here are a couple of reports that we developed using data from the ServiceNow Resource Plan data:

Here a similar report in terms Resource Allocation percentages:

Hopefully, this helps

Would you be able to share what table you used to create this report?
