REST GET HTTP query parameter size limit?

I am using snapLogic to integrate our ServiceNow instance with a client ServiceNow instance. When we have a comment with a great deal of text, the REST PUT call to the client fails.

For the client REST GET parameters, is there a max size limit for the HTTP Query Parameter?

How would I have the client increase the parameter size limit?

Thanks

Hey,

Please share the call what you are trying to make. I know JSON payload what SN can support at minimum is around 25Mb without perf issues. Sharing the details and insights around the call will help here

I don't have access to the client REST GET parameters. If it is possible for them to increase the max character size of the parameter, that's what I need to tell them.

I am using snapLogic REST PUT snap to make the call to the client instance.

Http headers: content-type = application/json, Accept = application/json

This all works for smaller character comment. The text that is failing is below, I have verified it is the amount of text that is causing the call to fail, not the actual text:

We have another site have similar issues reaching OSCAR 2.0 facilities. This is seen from site 50241. Please see my e-mail below on specifics, thx. They could still be having bandwidth issues at times, although that would not appear to be the issue if they can connect to Oscar 1.0 fine but not Oscar 2.0 if tested at the same time.\n\nWe do not have any information on IU sites 60001 – 60016. Hi,

What I understand is you are trying to make REST call to ServiceNow from snapLOGIC via PUT method. Could you please share the JSON object as well?

I dont think it has anything to do with GET parameter at ServiceNow.

Let me try via postman and update you on the same !!!

Hello,

I tried and it successfully updated the comments of incident, please see below.

There must be some sort of error message coming from ServiceNow, could you please post that as well?
