Hi all,
I am using remote instance to retrieve completed update sets from previous instance. However, one issue I am facing.
1. As my instance is cloning, i took the back of xmls from dev instance by going to local update sets --> complete them and do export to xml.
2. Now , after clone, i went to retrived update sets --> import from xml.
3. However, i observed that all update sets have update source empty.
4. But in my remote instance, how can retrieve my update sets if update source is empty. Would the update sets get retrieved?

Can you provide more details on which instance you need these updates to be retrived remotely and in which instannce you imported the xml updates.
Im assuming
remote(1) ---> dev(2)
you retrived xml from dev and imported back to dev instance.
As your update sets are not imported from any other instance, update source will be empty.
To install your updates > open your imported update set(retrived Update sets) > preview > commit.
if you are facing any issues in doing this post the issue below (and provide required info)

It wont cause any issue while importing these updates from dev to target instance.
Update source field indicates the source from which your update set is retrived. As you imported updates through xml the field will be empty.
if you need more details
