hello All,
We are restructuring our Service catalog design.
Few questions I have is :
>>Can we restrict access to Service Catalog at catalog level ? rather than item level ? using user criteria or such ?
>>what is the best Catalog design ? what is the criteria to define multiple Catalogs or should we stick to one catalog ? best practice ?

Hello,
For both questions:
It would depend on the overall design of your Service Catalog. I generally try to define restrictions at the catalog item level (since items are owned by separate team and each have their own visibility restriction). And in case of a required change it is easier to change and that way it would only affect the concerned Catalog.
Hope this helps!

Hi there @Servicenow lear
you can use Catalog UI Policies, Catalog UI Policies Actions, and Catalog Client Scripts to restrict access at the catalog level,.
By configuring these elements, you can control the visibility and availability of entire catalogs based on user criteria such as roles, groups, or conditions.
I would sa the best catalog design depends on your specific needs.
If this helps kindly accept the answer thanks much.

If you refer my screenshot, you will see i have created a custom Service catalog and now I want to restrict this catalog from users vs doing it at Catalog item level. I dont see any options of doing that.

Hi Azar,
Is there a way (or recommended way) to restrict accesses to the Fulfillment Steps?
Thanks,
Steve
