We have implemented SailPoint's IdentityNow application. The catalog item that is utilized has all read-only fields as they are populated from a portal widget. We have had several instances of users accessing the catalog item by using the direct URL. Submitting will of course create an RITM with absolutely no data. We've tried using entitlements (user criteria), but that prevents submission from the portal widget. The item shows in the user's cart (sc_cart), but cannot be submitted. The catalog item is not in any categories and is therefore not searchable. Anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent a user from accessing the catalog item without going through the portal widget?

Hi @shamill70_mh,
Have you try to restricts using User criteria in Available for and Not Available for related lists?
May be User criteria will help you to restrict the required catalog item.
If my response helps to solve your issue. Kindly mark it as helpful & correct. It will be helpful for future readers.
Thanks,

Using the standard 'Available For' and 'Not Available For' options prevents submission from the portal widget. The item makes it into the cart, but cannot be submitted.

set the user criteria > available for on catalog item. You can set it to user with admin role.
This way it will not be available for non-admin users and admins can still maintain it
