Need help related to Approval Delegation and would appreciate your guidance on the best approach.
Current Behavior
- Users can configure delegates using the User Delegates (sys_user_delegate) table.
- When an approval is generated, ServiceNow checks the delegate configuration and routes the approval accordingly.
But for some approvals
- (identified by Request Sourceable = true):
- If the configured delegate has a lower job level than the original approver, the approval must not route to the delegate.
- Instead, the approval should remain with the original approver.
- If the delegate is at the same or higher job level, delegation should continue as normal.
