Restriction to Reports

Hi All,

I have a requirement that the user who created the report he should only be able to create, update(save), delete the reports for others irrespective of the role (itil, report_admin etc.,) report should be just read only and shouldn't be able to share the reports?

Please refer the screenshot below :

I want to remove this Insert and Insert and Stay buttons for the user other than the author :

@Balaraju K B This is OOB behaviour that who is owner of report can edit or save report not any other users.

And if you wish to have viewing report by other just add basic role like snc_intrrnal or anything else available on your instance, so other users can view or you can make it globally to be viewed by other.

Note: admin can view and do any action even report is not shared.

@Abhay Kumar1  No its not OOB other than the author is able to create the report using Insert and Insert and Stay.

According to your requirement , this should be controlled through roles as described by ServiceNow. Please see the default report behaviour through the ServiceNow documentation located here: Administering reports (servicenow.com)
