Hello All,
We have a requirement when a RITM is created, approval need to be sent to requested for users manager to approve the RITM.
- We need to check ifthe RITM assignment Group is "GroupA" or "GroupB".
- send Approval request to requested for user's manager.
- If the Manager approves , then the RITM work flow continues.
- if the manager rejects, then the RITMs state should change to closed skipped.
Tried to do via BR and subflow but its not checking for the group on testing its asking approval for any group.
Please advise how to achieve this.
TIA

@CV1
you should be using either flow or workflow on your catalog item to Send the approval etc
why are you using BR and subflow for this?

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar ,
This is not for a catalog item and using BR and subflow as we cannot trigger a flow on requested item.
so created a BR with the conditions
on requested item
conditions=
assignment group is "GroupA" or
assignment group is "GroupB"
and
assignment group chnages
and
state is not one of WIP,Close Complete,Closed Skipped,Closed incomplete
then created subflow with inputs
record -> record -> reference.requested item
then action
ask for approval .....
copied subflow code snippet to BR script where its calling the subflow async

you are saying when RITM is created -> it means a catalog item is getting submitted
then why not have Flow on that catalog item and handle approval there?
why to have BR and subflow?

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar ,
We have many Catalog items that create multiple RITMs so instead of updating each of them , creating via BR and subflow and also we need this for only 2 groups from the list of groups we have.
