RITM request for approval from requested by user manager

Hello All,

We have a requirement when a RITM is created, approval need to be sent to requested for users manager to approve the RITM.


  • We need to check ifthe RITM assignment Group is "GroupA" or "GroupB".
  • send Approval request to requested for user's manager.
  • If the Manager approves , then the RITM work flow continues.
  • if the manager rejects, then the RITMs state should change to closed skipped.

Tried to do via BR and subflow but its not checking for the group on testing its asking approval for any group.

Please advise how to achieve this.

that's not how you should use approval

You are not using the standard OOTB feature of Flow/Workflow for this

Hi @CV1 

You need to create a Flow from flow designer and attached it to your catalog item.
Your Flow looks like this as per your exact Requirement.
