Hi ServiceNow Community,
I am currently working as a ServiceNow Developer focusing on ITSM, and I am interested in expanding my skills into Generative AI and Now Assist within the ServiceNow platform.
Since I am relatively new to this area, I would really appreciate guidance from experienced developers or architects on how to approach learning these technologies effectively.
Could you please suggest a structured learning roadmap from beginner to advanced level for topics such as:
Generative AI capabilities in ServiceNow
Now Assist features and implementation
Recommended Now Learning courses, collections, or documentation
It would also be helpful to know which prerequisites or platform concepts (for example AI Search, Predictive Intelligence, or Integration Hub) should be learned before moving into Now Assist and Gen AI.
Thank you in advance for your guidance. I look forward to learning from the community and exploring the AI capabilities within ServiceNow.
Best regards.

Hello @harshapisse .
As above already you got lot of suggestion Those are really helpful.
From @GlideFather Awesome guide. From @Dr Atul G- LNG Always correct and useful suggetion and the great and really much useful links and path shared by @Tanushree Maiti .
the small from my end.
You can please refer given all links, try to give time 1-3 hrs per day for your study with servicenow course , there you will get lab for practice, watch videos, i am sure in 1-2 months u will be expert.
FYI- Story from my--
A few months ago, I was completely new to ServiceNow. I didn’t know where to start or how the platform worked. Everything looked confusing at first, and I felt like learning it would take a very long time.
While searching on YouTube for some guidance, I came across Sir’s channel. That’s where my ServiceNow learning journey actually started. His way of explaining concepts in a simple and practical manner made things much easier to understand. Step by step, I started learning the basics, practicing in my own instance, and gradually building confidence.
Over the months, I realized how much I had grown. From not knowing anything about ServiceNow, I can now say that I’m no longer a beginner. There is still a lot to learn, but the foundation has become strong.
My small suggestion to anyone who is starting with ServiceNow: try learning from Atul Sir’s channel. Stay consistent, practice regularly, and keep exploring the platform. If you keep learning with dedication, I’m sure you’ll soon become confident and move towards becoming an expert.
