roles required for sibling task creation

we wanted to create new sibling tasks in MSI response task but we are not getting new button! what are the roles required to get access to create new sibling task apart from manager role - TIA

It’s not available to everyone by default because ServiceNow restricts it based on role + record permissions.
Follow @Dr Atul G- LNG  has provided the link

Mean while :-

 

  • Go to UI Actions 

  • Open the UI Action record.

  • Check:

    • Table (which task type it applies to)

    • Condition field → see which roles or conditions are required

    • Client/Server script for any custom logic like:

       
      gs.hasRole('manager') || gs.hasRole('pm_admin')
       

  • Also verify ACLs (especially create on that task table).

Common Missing Role

If it’s MSI-related, the role you might be missing is likely:msi_admin or msi_task_contributor

These roles often control create/edit permissions for related tasks.
