Hi @Suhail2297 ,
i know that ServiceNow have added some write ACLs OOTB, hence I would suggest to instead of modifying the ACL OOTB, then instead create a deny-unless ACL to ensure that only users with your specific role have write access.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards

Hi @Suhail2297
Modify ITIL Role Permissions:
Go to System User Roles and edit the ITIL role.
Remove Create, Write, and Delete permissions for the cmdb_ci table.
Ensure Read permission remains checked
If you found this helpful please accept as solution and mark helpful

Hi @Suhail2297
What do you mean by "restrict"? OOTB ITIL users work in the CMDB table. Do you have a process in place, or can you create ACLs to restrict access?
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
