I have one requirement -create catalog item "Software Purchase Request", which can be used to create multiple request items (RITMs). Such as: we want to buy Adobe, MS Office and Dream Wave. we shall use same catalog item create first RITM for Adobe and then we add this RITM to Shopping card. After first one we use same catalog item create second RITM for MS Office, then as well same to Dream Wave. Therefore when we submit my request I shall have one REQ with three RITMs. We shall be able to create any number of RITMs as we want using same catalog item.
We don't want to use Order Guide. Can any expert give me some direction how to implement this requirement?

Hi Nancy,
In case you do not want to use order guides you may want to have a look at below discussion

Nancy,
Can you please explain the business case behind this? I'm not sure I understand why you would do this rather than just have catalog items for Adobe, Office and Dream Wave under a Software category. They can all be added to a cart and procured together.
Thanks,
Ben

A request is simply a record of a cart transaction.
A request item is each individual item ordered as part of the transaction.
As Ben has mentioned, just add each item to the card individually and then submit.
