SC Catalog Item not showing up on my Service Portal?

When trying to put the SC Catalog Item widget into my Service Portal, it tells me "You are either not authorized or record is not valid." & does not let me select a SC Item. I want to input a Record Producer in my Service Portal and believe this is the only way to show a Record Producer in ServiceNow Portals? Correct me if im wrong please. 


Any help is appreciated! Attached picture for reference.

Hi @abebriones94 ,

 

I  would recommend adding an 'Icon Link' widget instead, similar to the 'Get Help' one. 

You can search for Icon link on your left panel, add it into the position on the page that you want 

Hoover over the widget and click on the pencil (top right).

Select type: Catalog Item

Catalog Item : your record producer 

For example:

Result expected:  when you click on your Icon Link it will open your record producer.
