Schedule a report every hour

Hi All,

I have a requirement of scheduling a report every hour,

HI Mohammed,

You need to create a report first under View/Run in left nav.

It's better to add this report on a homepage so that every hour it will reflect correct information.

Scheduling it every 1 hour and sending to users is not preferred since it will create huge emails along with the report as an attachment and will mostly be ignored.

Ya but we require one of the report to be scheduled everyday.

Hi,

If you want a report to be scheduled daily at particular time then use Scheduled Reports. Create new one mention your newly created report .

In left nav type scheduled reports.

Specify Run time as periodically. Repeat interval will be like daily at 12 hours etc. You can give hours, minutes etc there.

Mention list of users, groups to whom the report should be sent out. You can also mention email subject, body etc

You can also specify the type as PDF, Excel, CSV. The report will be emailed to the users, group members in that format as an attachment.
