SCIM Connector for Provisioning

Searching for a configuration guide or general document on how to build an API using the SCIM protocol for provisioning users. The integration is between a UCaaS and ServiceNow enterprise system. Any tips or information related to using the SCIM connector to pull information from ServiceNow for the purpose of provisioning Unified Communications user accounts.  Any information related to this topic is appreciated.

I am also now investigating a SCIM connector/app for ServiceNOW. 

Obviously applies to various use-cases. Current interest is auto-provisioning approved REQ/RIT tickets to a SCIM-Server (that does the actual CRUD operations on targets/endpoints.
