Hi Team,
There is search group in our instance for change request and it mentioned active = true, but it shows inactive records in global search for local instance change records, attaching the screenshot for reference.
But for same change if I search with 3rd party change number, only active changes are appearing and inactive changes not showing up, does anyone faced this issue and why is it happening only for 3rd party changes.
Active change local 3rd party --> both showing up in global search
Inactive change local -->showing up, 3rd party -- no results.
Any inputs in this context is much useful.
Regards,
Gayathri

I had this with a client a couple of months back and there was another search source that was looking for all changes (it was called 'change'). Due to filtering, we didn't see that right away. Can you check on any other search sources if you have 'change request' added there as table?

Hi Mark,
I did check in search sources and deactivated all related to change and change task, I dont find any parent table search sources or search groups either, so not sure how this restriction is happening only for 3rd party items.

Hi @Gayathri5,
This type of results turns when there are multiple search sources defined on the given table or its parenting table. This should be a main reason i guess.
Give a try to identify other search sources on same table or its parenting table which my lead to such results. Fine tune the search and that must fix the issue...
I hope this helps...
