Search partial text in Service Portal using keyword search

I should like to search partial text in Service Portal using keyword search control.  For example I want to search the CI whose name starts with 'w3server%' instead of 'w3serverX86'. 

Analyzing the widget 'Data Table from URL definition', the search is fired by the $location.search function where, I suppose, contains the logic to search data among columns of the list.

Has anyone faced this problem?
