Search source not working in test but working dev

I have created search sources for business application table to search it in global search. It is working fine in dev instance but not working test instance even though i have moved same changed whatever i made in dev instance. Can anyone please give me the solution for this

I think the last option is log a Now Support case.  A wild thought, is both instances on same release family and patch?

if you are doing your work in specific application - is it the same set up in the test instance for your search source?

Have you generated the text index for the data source?

If you generated a new text index in Dev, you would need to do the same in Test.

I Haven't generated any text index for my business application table but still it is working in my dev instance. Does it necessary to create Text index. 

If it is yes, Please guide me how to create a text index for the data source
