Searching a word in Attachments of knowledge articles not working

On my PDI, when I search for a word, such as 'Vancouver test,' I can locate it in one of the attachments of a knowledge article. However, on my customer's instance, this functionality is not working. The search function does not seem to be scanning the attachments of the knowledge article on my customer's ServiceNow instance. Despite ensuring that everything is configured correctly, including enabling the 'attachment_index' attribute, the issue persists. What could be the reason for this discrepancy?
