Hi everyone.

Can anyone some insights on the key security practices recommended for ServiceNow development? How do you ensure data integrity and compliance?

Hi @VishaalRanS,

There are a number of areas to consider when referring to 'security', however I'd suggest tackling these practices from two main areas as a starting point:

- The platform as a whole (access and securing the data)

- Development best practices (Ensuring anything developed or configured meets required security measures).

Thankfully there's some great links out there. I'd steer you to the following:

ServiceNow's platform security guidelines - https://www.servicenow.com/content/dam/servicenow-assets/public/en-us/doc-type/success/playbook/inst...

A great community link on development best practices from @Luke Van Epen - https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-articles/enforcing-best-practices-and-development-sta...
